New Regulation for Export Truck Deliveries at CTS Starting 20.10.2025

We have been informed by Container Terminal Salzburg (CTS) that the following new regulation will come into effect on Monday, 20.10.2025, initially with a three week test phase, with mandatory implementation starting Monday, 10.11.2025:

• the load weight specified by the truck driver for export full containers must match the weight booked by the operator.
• a maximum weight deviation of +/- 250 kg per TEU is permitted.
• in the case of larger weight deviations, the full container cannot be handed over.
• the container will only be accepted by CTS after the operator has updated the weight.

Please note that the correct weights must be communicated to us during the transport order. Should the weight subsequently change, we require an immediate update to avoid additional costs.

We cannot accept any liability for any downtime at CTS due to differing weights.
