Restriction of rail traffic

Important updates

The heavy storm effects still significant, around 6,000 kilometers of railway lines in Germany were damaged.
very delayed start-up of railway operations due to infrastructure overload, damage to overhead lines in the Hanover area, stop-and-go traffic in northern Germany.
First normalization of rail traffic expected by the end of the current week at the earliest.
Heavy container export backlog of over 1.000 TEU due to numerous train cancellations.
Persistent delays are still to be expected.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
