Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Train services in the greater Hanover area have been severely disrupted since June 19, 2026, due to construction work, signal box malfunctions, and overhead line issues.
Last night, the Hanover rail junction was completely closed.
Northbound trains had to be stopped.
Hamburg train flow control is active.
Bremerhaven train flow control is active.
As a consequence, significant delays are to be expected; short-notice changes or train cancellations cannot be ruled out.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
