Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

The overall situation in rail traffic remains very strained.
Inbound traffic control measures in Hamburg and Bremerhaven have now been lifted.
DB InfraGO rail network and seaport terminals continue to operate at capacity.
Additional terminal slots or special slots are currently unavailable.
The numerious weather-related train cancellations of recent weeks have led to a significant import container surplus.
As a result, trains in Hamburg import traffic to Austria are fully booked until mid-week 8.
In export traffic, capacity is available for new bookings starting week 7.
As a result, further delays are to be expected, short-notice train changes or cancellations cannot be ruled out.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
