Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

The overall situation remains very tense.
Due to weather conditions and fully utilized train storage areas, trains cannot enter the German rail network.
For the same reason, trains to Austria cannot enter the Austrian rail network, which can further lead to deadlines expiring for customs-related shipments.
As a consequence, train cancellations are still to be expected, as the train sets from the previous service are still on the tracks or were unable to depart.
From current perspective, free capacity for new export bookings will be available from week 6, depending on the development of the overall situation in the coming days.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
