Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) announces that since 07.11.2025, 08:20 a.m., operations at the Western Port have been suspended until further notice.
The reason is demonstrators in the track area. Terminal Burchardkai is unreachable.
Hamburg Terminal Burchardkai announces that, for internal reasons, no train handling will take place tonight and tomorrow night.
Countermeasures have been taken, with additional staff on duty for both the late shift and tomorrow’s early shift.
Currently, the backlog is appr. 8 hours due to the demonstration.
Delays and cancellations cannot be ruled out.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
