Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

For the commissioning of the electronic interlocking at Bremen Central Station and for the “Local Transport Concept” project as a prerequisite for the general renovation of the Bremen – Bremerhaven line in 2027, a total closure of Bremen Central Station – Lübberstedt section has been announced, among other things, from 07:00 a.m. on Thursday, 02.10.2025 to 08.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 06.10.2025.
As a consequence, no rail service to/from Bremerhaven will be possible during this period.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
