Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Jammed rail infrastructure in Hamburg, Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) refuses to accept export trains and are parked in the Buchholz area (near Hamburg).
Terminal Eurokombi informs that the 4th shift from Saturday to Sunday cannot be sufficiently staffed, an attempt is made to fill the following shifts with increased staffing.
Delayed dispatch of the trains is to be expected as a consequence.
Handling backlog in Hamburg, Terminal CTA at approx. 15 hours.
Handling backlog in Bremerhaven, Terminal Eurogate at approx. 6 hours.
Handling backlog in Bremerhaven, Terminal NTB at approx. 6 hours.
Train delays and cancellations are to be expected as a consequence.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
