Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

The overall situation on rail traffic is beginning to ease slightly, most of the trains that had been taken out of service in Austria have been able to resume operation.
However, restrictions and short-notice train cancellations are still to be expected.
At border crossings into the German rail network, some services towards northern Germany may still not be running.
Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) approach control system remains active.
Hamburg, Terminal Burchardkai, processing backlog of approx. 7 hours.
From today’s perspective, free capacity for new export bookings will be available from week 6.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
