We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

 

Important updates

  • The effects of the 24-hour warning strike on 24.06.2022 are massive.
  • As a consequence, numerous train cancellations from/to Hamburg, Bremerhaven nd Wilhelmshaven to be recorded.
  • Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) refused one export train and had to be parked in front of Hamburg.
  • Shunting movements are very sluggish.
  • We were informed by Eurokombi Terminal, Hamburg, that there is currently an above-average sickness rate days and unwilligness to do extra work (apparently due to failed collective bargaining), it is not possible to increase the number of staff above usual level.
  • Handling backlogs in Hamburg, Terminal Eurokombi approx. 24 hours.
  • Handling backlogs in Hamburg, Terminal Burchardkai approx. 24 hours.
  • Handling backlogs in Bremerhaven, Terminal Eurogate approx. 4 hours.
  • Handling backlogs in Bremerhaven, Terminal NTB approx. 4 hours.
  • The overall situation remains extremely tense, we expect further train cancellations from/to all 3 North German seaports in the next few days.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
