Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Operations at the individual terminals in Hamburg remain severely restricted.
Snow-covered container roofs and container wagons are severely hindering crane operations on the wagons and in the container aisles of the individual terminals, resulting in longer loading times and delayed train departures.
Truck transfers between the Hamburg terminals are either impossible or severely restricted.
Hamburg, Terminal CTA has a backlog of approx. 39 hours.
Hamburg, Terminal Burchardkai has a backlog of approx. 2,5 days.
Hamburg, Terminal Eurokombi, slots from Monday, 05.01.2026 to Wednesday, 07.01.2026 have been cancelled without replacement and will be reassigned.
Due to the weather conditions, handling capabilities will remain severely restricted in the coming days.
As a consequence, further delays and train cancellations are to be expected.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
