Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

The strong storm “Zoltan” has a massive impact on rail traffic.
Trains are parked in the Nuremberg area or can not depart from Hamburg or Bremerhaven, due to all routes via Hanover and Fulda are expected to be closed for approx. 20 hours.
Passau is currently refusing to accept export trains.
All terminals in Hamburg are only operational to a limited extent, Terminal Burchardkai reports a clearance backlog of approx. 12 hous.
It is currently not possible to predict when regular rail operations will resume.
As a result, significant backlog effects and train cancellations are to be expected.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
