Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Scheduled inflow control by Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) is still in place, i.e. trains are gradually assigned the terminal access, agreed slot times are suspended.
Due to strong winds on 01.12.2021 evening/night, handling in Hamburg and Bremerhaven was suspended for a few hours.
CTA Hamburg current backlog appr. 30 hours
BUKAI Hamburg current backlog appr. 7 hours
Eurogate Bremerhaven stopped handling on 01.12.2021, 07:30 p.m. due to strong winds.
These massive restrictions continue to lead to significant train delays, train cancellations are also to be expected.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
