Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Hamburg Terminal CTA has stopped handling empty containers, empty containers have been moved to other port areas. Empty container acceptance by train is currently not possible.
Due to ongoing massive imbalance (more export than imports via CTA), export trains are waiting to enter CTA or had to be parked in front of Hamburg, with the consequence effect of train cancellations.
Due to persistent capacity bottlenecks, transfers in Hamburg via alternative terminals are currently not possible.
Due to the ongoing cancellation of trains, handling delays at Austrian terminals are to be expected.
Delays and short-term train cancellations are to be expected.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
