Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

WienCont Container Terminal informs about very high depot utilization, additional capacity for storing additional containers is currently not available.
Empty containers with an arrival date of Thursday 10.07.2025 will be accepted. no further empty containers can be accepted by rail until further notice.
This may necessitate short-term transport interruptions and temporary storage of empty containers at upstream depots, any resulting lifting and storage fees will be charged as of 10.07.2025.
New export bookings from Thursday, 10.07.2025 can be delivered a maximum of two working days before scheduled train departure.
Measures have already been taken to create additional space capacity at short notice, until then, these measures must be observed.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
