01. April 2026 | Operative Infos

Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

  • On Tuesday, 31.03.2026, at approx 8 p.m., a 300 meter-long section of the overhead power line between Bad Bevensen and Uelzen was damaged. The affected section was completely closed.
  • Directly affected trains are delayed indefinitely, while indirectly affected trains are being diverted or experiencing later departures or arrivals.
  • Currently, no trains are being accepted towards Germany, we have no forecast for when service will resume.
  • Train approach control for Hamburg remains active.
  • Hamburg, Burchardkai Terminal, delay of approx. 8 hours. Restrictions are affecting rail handling at the southern module. An end to the restrictions is currently not foreseeable.
  • As a consequence, delays, short-notice train changes, or cancellations are to be expected.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.

As a precaution, we would like to point out that ROLAND Spedition accepts no liability for costs resulting from these events. Your contact person will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your transports.
