Restriction of rail traffic

Important updates

Due to a lightning strike on the night of 27.11.2024, the section of the route between Hamburg-Uelzen-Hanover is closed to freight traffic. There are also trees in the overhead lines in this area.
The line closure is expected to be lifted on 27.11.2024, approx. 2:00 p.m.
Freight traffic to/from Hamburg is routed via the diversion route Hamburg-Verden-Hanover, whereby capacities are only available to a limited extent.
As a result, delays are to be expected, train cancellations cannot be ruled out.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
