Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.


Important updates

  • Jammed rail infrastructure in Hamburg, Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) refuses to accept export trains and are parked in the Buchholz area (near Hamburg).
  • Terminal Eurokombi informs that the 4th shift from Saturday to Sunday cannot be sufficiently staffed, an attempt is made to fill the following shifts with increased staffing.
  • Delayed dispatch of the trains is to be expected as a consequence.
  • Handling backlog in Hamburg, Terminal CTA at approx. 15 hours.
  • Handling backlog in Bremerhaven, Terminal Eurogate at approx. 6 hours.
  • Handling backlog in Bremerhaven, Terminal NTB at approx. 6 hours.
  • Train delays and cancellations are to be expected as a consequence.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
