Restriction of rail traffic - delays Bremerhaven NTB

We want to inform you that we are confronted with increasing and massive delays in the rail handling at the NTB terminal.

The reasons are, on the one hand, the severe delays of the ships and, on the other hand, the rerouting of services by the Carriers from Hamburg to Bremerhaven. The import volumes have risen sharply, the length of time the containers remain at the terminal has increased, which has resulted in numerous traffic jams. The storage capacities are exhausted, we have received the information that all personnel and equipment resources have been used, but currently no reliable forecast can be made as to when the delays will be processed.

The trains of Roland Spedition are also massively affected, we are expecting train cancellations in the next few days and, as a result, considerable backlog effects, we cannot guarantee that all delivery deadlines will be guaranteed at the moment.

We are working flat out to keep the impact as low as possible.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
