Restriction of rail traffic - German seaports / terminals

We would like to inform you that, due to difficult collective bargaining negotiations between the tariff parties Verdi and ZDS, there will be a reduced willingness to volunteer on the upcoming public holidays. Considerable operational restrictions at the Hamburg terminals are to be expected. Terminal Eurokombi revoked handling commitments for May 24th, 2021.

We were informed by Terminal NTB Bremerhaven that there is a short-term staff shortage which cannot be compensated and which leads to delays in handling.

Roland Spedition’s trains are also affected and cannot rule out short-term train cancellations or train route changes and delays.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.

As a precaution, we would like to point out that ROLAND Spedition assumes no liability for costs resulting from these events.
