Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Due to the heavy snowfall on 02.12.2023 in the south of Germany and Austria, train traffic is suspended severely restricted by route closures.
Icy switches, trees on overhead lines, locomotive pantographs cannot be ironed on due to icing and snow loads have also caused train cancellations on our system.
Delays in container handling at the terminals are to be expected.
The consequentail effects of backlog effects due to train cancellations and delayed onward journeys are significant, effects can be expected at least in week 49.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
