Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Since April 22, 2024, there have been significant restrictions on the Würzburg – Gmünden – Aschaffenburg route due to acute damage to the rails.
A section of this section is only accessible on a single track; according to DB InfraGO, the repairs should be completed by April 28th. to be finished
Delays and backlog effects with train cancellations are to be expected as a consequence.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
