Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

Due to the weather, export trains have been parked in the Fulda area since 06.12.2023, as a result export trains could not leave Austria.
The train driver’s union (GDL) has again called for a strike, starting in freight transport on 07.12.2023, 6 p.m. to 08.12.2023, 10 p.m.
Depending on the participation of the train drivers and dispatchers organized in this union disruptions in train traffic are to be expected.
Delays due to backlog effects are to be expected as a consequence and train cancellations cannot be ruled out.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
