Restriction of truck and rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

Important updates

WienCont, Vienna will impose an acceptance ban on CTA export containers from 16.12.2021 for the time being until 20.12.2021.
Containers already been delivered not affected by this measure.
Reason: massive congestion with ongoing dispatch control of Hamburg Terminal CTA, which resulted in numerous train cancellations and caused massive container backlogs at WienCont.
Planned truckings during this period cannot be arranged.
Containers already been delivered, no timely rail dispatch to CTA is currently foreseeable.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
