Roland takes the cup again

Last Friday, numerous companies from the logistics industry gathered at the invitation of MSC Austria for the traditional MSC & Medlog Soccer Tournament.

With exciting matches, a great atmosphere, and perfect soccer weather, every ball was fiercely contested on the pitch. There was plenty happening off the field as well, with enthusiastic fans providing loud support and creating an outstanding atmosphere throughout the day.

Keeping Their Nerve in the Quarterfinals

For the Roland Youngstars, the road to the title was anything but easy. The quarterfinal match was particularly thrilling and remained undecided until the very end. The winner was only determined in a penalty shootout, with our team ultimately coming out on top.

With that victory behind them, the Roland Youngstars advanced to the final. Once again, they proved their strength, securing a 3-1 win. The celebrations were well deserved: for the fourth consecutive year, our team had the honor of taking the trophy home.

What Matters on the Pitch

Along with sporting ambition; mutual support, fair play, and strong teamwork were key ingredients for success. After all, the same qualities that make a successful soccer team also contribute to success in the workplace.

A Great Tournament

It was a successful day of soccer and an outstanding tournament from start to finish. The weekend could hardly have gotten off to a better start.

We would like to thank all participating teams for the exciting matches, MSC and Medlog for the excellent organization, and of course all the fans for their fantastic support from the sidelines.

We are already looking forward to next year’s tournament!
