Restriction of rail traffic – impact of Storm Tristan

Restriction of rail traffic – impact of Storm Tristan We would like to inform you that the effects of the current weather situation caused by storm Tristan have far-reaching consequences for rail traffic. On the part of Deutsche Bahn, all export trains are currently being refused to take over at Passau or cannot depart from the Austrian terminal. More import and export trains are on the line, a forecast for onward travel cannot currently be given. We are in close contact with our rail partners and try to secure onward journeys as quickly as possible. We also expect significant consequences in the next few days, train cancellations are to be expected.
Roland Spedition’s trains are also affected.
Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
As a precaution, we would like to point out that ROLAND Spedition accepts no liability for costs resulting from these events.
Your contact person will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your transports.
